(read more) A quick online search will confirm what a rare find she is.This Herreshoff is the classic Meadowlark from L. Francis Herreshoff. She was constructed with foam-cored molded fiberglass. The core was hand laid up in lateral 12" strips. Fore and aft of each strip, fiberglass webs tie her inner and outer skins together, providing high strength and stiffness. The decks, trunk, and cockpit are constructed the same with wedges on 9" centers. The hull is over 1 inch thick. The lee boards have internal lead ballast. Hull sides are painted with Awlgrip. The vents and deck hardware are bronze.This versatile yacht is truly a gem!This is a brand new listing, just on the market this week.
