(read more) You and your guests will come aboard from the swim platform ladder or gunwale through to an ample aft deck that optionally is fully covered and enclosed. A three-step ladder takes you to the Flybridge helm station with full instrumentation and controls and a 360 view of your horizon. Spacious is the word and a tribute to the designer. A companionway three steps down take you to the large salon with plenty of storage both starboard and port side with the second helm station fore and starboard and companionway to the huge aft stateroom aft of the helm station. The cabin helm is fully instrumented as well as with good visibility. A three-step aft companionway takes you to the largest of the two staterooms. The stern stateroom features two hanging lockers, ample storage drawers, and plenty of natural light with windows fore, port and starboard side with queen-size walkaround bed central to the room. A large head with large vanity and full shower completes the stateroom. Forward is a generous V-berth as the second stateroom with under-bed storage, drawers, and a large hanging locker behind the privacy door. The second full head with shower is interestingly designed to share entry with the galley area of the cabin. The U-shaped galley has a two-burner electric stove and a newer stainless steel refrigerator, kitchen sink and cabinets. A large dinette area features a table which can seat 6 and converts to a queen-size berth. Engine access is midships from the salon with removable floor panels in the main salon. Access to the diesel generator and dual air conditioning units, clean water, and maintenance access are here. We appreciate that you took your time to look at our advertisement and we look forward to speaking with you! The most recent survey (May 2024) was suspended when excess moisture was found in multiple areas:
Port and Starboard side aft hull showed high moisture (28-30 on Skipper 5 Moisture meter) and delamination.
High moisture and delamination in the Bridge Sole.
High Moisture and delamination on the Port inner stringer in Master Stateroom. The Transom showed high moisture at the starboard side near swim platform bolts and port side below the swim platform bolts.
High moisture and starboard midships through hulls.
Port side high moisture and delamination below the port quarter below hull vents. and on the Port side as well. Seller contacted Dryboat and estimate to dry the areas identified in survey is $15,000.
A recent survey was interrupted by attending buyer over loose stanchions on rail for sundeck and water and oil in bilge areas at engine compartment and moisture in two stringers. No written survey.
Seller Diesel mechanic who performed compression check of the engines and reported "fine shape". Mechanic determined need for replacement of head gaskets on both units in September 2023. Not performed.
There are spots of rust identified at the base of a couple of supports for the deck rail chrome but they are in good condition.
Seller reports camper canvas and isinglass in good condition and zipper and snap enclosures work well. The seller suspects a breaker wiring issue with the autopilot and hour meters which are not operational but otherwise electronics are in working order.
The Engine hold and aft bilge both showed evidence of engine oil. Two personal inspection and one by a friend who is a diesel mechanic, evaluated the presences of oil on both engines and suspect there is need for head gasket on both Detroit Diesels.
The vessel has been stored indoors Winters since purchase in 2018 until 2023 when winterized wrapped and strored on the hard. Ask for Steve Towns.
