She is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8V-71 engine and produces up to 17 tons bollard pull. The engine is keel cooled.The elevated bridge provides good visibility all around and is updated with Furuno 1600 radar. The 70-degree rudder and 6' draft optimize maneuverability for this worker.... The owner confirms the Detroit Diesel has always been a sweet runner with no major issues. The injectors were replaced in 2004 and the boat has been in fresh water since the late 1980s.
